From the author, Iris Blobel: Let Me Love You is the second book in the Australian Sport Stars series. A few years ago, we went to a small place in New South Wales, south of Sydney. It was during the finals of the Australian Football League, which is big here in Victoria. During that time I came up with Love Will Find You, the story about Tyson, a football player from Victoria, who falls in love with Katie, a girl from New South Wales.
I loved writing about Tyson and his friends Oliver and Markus, and decided to give the friends a story as well. As a non-football fan, I was glad the football season was over and needed different sports for the friends. When I took my little girl to gym one day, I saw the local baseball team train and had my second sport. As a German girl, the Soccer World Cup last year obviously didn’t get past me, either…

All About Iris:
Iris Blobel was born and raised in Germany and only immigrated to Australia in the late 1990s. Having had the travel bug most of her life, Iris spent some time living in Scotland, and London, as well as Canada where she met her husband. Her love for putting her stories onto paper only emerged a few years back, but now her laptop is a constant companion. Iris resides west of Melbourne with her husband and her beautiful two daughters as well as their dog. Next to her job at a private school, she also presents a German Program at the local Community Radio.
