Often, those of us who love typewriters have difficulty finding someone to repair them. For those of you who are out-of-range of a typewriter mechanic, I am happy to offer a video consultation in which I’ll do my best to walk you through any issues you might be having. Sometimes we’re able to solve it during one phone call! Common problems include:
- Ribbon installation
- Basic maintenance
- Minor technical issues

Rates
For basic repair and cleaning, I offer a flat fee of $300. This includes the cost of a new ribbon, if needed. Sometimes, on very old machines, the job can be quite extensive. Each repair job is assessed individually for this reason.
